We strongly believe that sales compensation plans should reflect the complexity and nuance of each business in order to be really effective at driving results. Automation allows companies to build this complexity in without increasing the overhead of managing comp plans. This is especially relevant for companies who are reworking their sales commission structures as they adopt usage-based pricing. The ability to pay commissions when a customer pays an invoice, or reaches a product usage threshold, for example, helps align sales teams with what drives the most impact for their business.
